For my Machine Learning course “IA del Futuro”, I worked with a team to apply AI principles to solve a real-world business problem. Our project focused on developing an AI-driven strategy for LifeStone, a simulated supermarket, aimed at optimizing sales, inventory, and customer experience. The objective was to demonstrate innovation, creativity, and critical thinking while developing a practical AI solution.
Our team identified relevant data sources and created a realistic business scenario for LifeStone. We then applied Market Basket Analysis (MBA) and predictive models to uncover relationships between products and develop AI-powered solutions such as personalized recommendations, demand forecasting, and dynamic pricing. I contributed by analyzing transactional data, building machine learning models in KNIME, and interpreting results using data visualization techniques. Additionally, I helped structure the strategic implementation plan, ensuring that our solution was both innovative and feasible.
