I’m a systems thinker, a lifelong learner, and a firm believer that well-being is not just a personal pursuit—it’s the foundation for sustainable success in any organization.
About me

My self-discovery journey began at 17, during a time when I was struggling emotionally after witnessing a tragic car accident. One morning, my grandmother appeared out of the blue at 7 a.m., pulling me out of bed to practice Yoga. For three months, she made this a daily ritual. At first, I resisted, but Yoga became a transformative practice over time, helping me regain my emotional balance. It gave me a renewed sense of purpose and motivation, ultimately leading me to complete high school and pursue a career in medicine.
However, the demanding nature of medical school didn’t align with the balance I was seeking, so I decided to step away after a year. I chose to immerse myself fully in Yoga, not just as a student but as a seeker of meaning through movement and mindfulness.

While training as a Yoga student, the owners of the Yoga and Pilates Studio where I practiced were facing closure and invited me to manage the place. I stepped in to help turn the business around. Although I achieved excellent results, I hadn’t yet discovered the full scope of my abilities. I knew I had a knack for getting things done and improving systems, but I hadn’t yet pinpointed the underlying reason behind my success.
It wasn’t until I managed a handcrafted pizza restaurant that I realized I was good at improving processes, reducing inefficiencies, and optimizing workflows. I discovered how much I enjoyed seeing the direct impact of my work on the business, particularly in areas such as supply chain management. While these experiences gave me the confidence to start my own business, I wasn’t sure exactly what kind of business I wanted to create.

I decided to take my time, relocate to Playa del Carmen, and start fresh. While there, I started working as a yoga instructor and even considered opening my studio. But I didn’t know much about the local market, so I got a job as a tour guide. At this time, I honed my language skills by teaching myself Portuguese, further deepening my love for languages.
After a couple of years, my focus was on languages and technology, which led me to a six-month project where I managed the localization of an iOS app into 31 languages. I coordinated the work of translators worldwide and completed the English and Spanish translations myself. This experience gave me the confidence to dive deeper into technology, and I began teaching myself programming languages. Although I didn’t know exactly where this new path would lead, I knew it was related to technology, and that was enough to fuel my curiosity.

I transitioned into technical support, eager to understand how computational systems operated behind the scenes. My time in tech support reinforced my conviction that technology would play a pivotal role in my future. After two roles in tech support, I realized I needed formal education to solidify my career path. That’s when I discovered Industrial and Systems Engineering and realized it was the perfect fit for me. It would enable me to work with systems, people, and technology across various sectors, including service and manufacturing.
I earned my degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering in Mexico and am completing a Bachelor’s in Management at National Louis University, which I expect to finish by the end of summer 2025.
Today, I bring a versatile background—rooted in wellness, enriched by multilingual experience, and shaped by real-world problem-solving across diverse industries. I see organizations as living systems, departments as subsystems, and people as vital components. If we want our systems to thrive, we must care for the well-being of the people within them.
